About Williamsburg Learning of Colorado

Williamsburg Academy of Colorado (WAC) is a tuition-free, full-time online public school serving students in grades 6–12 across the state. We exist to do more than deliver education—we exist to ignite curiosity, cultivate leadership, and help students become who they are meant to be.

At WAC, learning is both rigorous and flexible. Our model blends independent learning with live mentor support, empowering students to take ownership of their education while being deeply known, challenged, and supported. Our mentors don’t just teach—they guide students to think critically, communicate clearly, and grow with purpose.

A defining part of the WAC experience is our Adventures program—where learning comes to life. Through hands-on experiences, field adventures, and community-building events, students step beyond the screen to explore, connect, and apply what they’re learning in meaningful, real-world ways. Adventures deepen relationships, spark curiosity, and create the moments students remember long after the lesson ends.

Everything we do is rooted in our mission: to prepare promising students for meaningful lives as principled leaders. We develop the whole student—academically, personally, and socially—through strong relationships, engaging content, and a vibrant, connected community.

At WAC, students aren’t just completing school—they are growing into thinkers, leaders, and contributors, equipped to thrive in school and beyond.
