Job Description
Company: Sigma Commercial LLC
Location: Milwaukee, WI (East Side), On-Site
Employment Type: Full-Time Internship (3 Months)
Pay: $18.00/hour
Start Date: December 2026
About Us
Sigma Commercial LLC is a Milwaukee-based holding company. Its businesses include LaBonte Construction, a luxury residential remodeling firm, and Property Prep, a commercial maintenance and janitorial company. We produce YouTube channels and a podcast that show the real work behind these businesses: remodeling projects from start to finish, the people doing the work, and practical lessons from running companies in Milwaukee. Our in-house video and audio production team is growing, and we're looking for an intern who wants hands-on experience making content that gets published.
About the Role
This is a three-month, full-time, paid internship for someone who wants to learn how a working YouTube channel and podcast operate. You'll shoot, edit, and package video and podcast content for LaBonte Construction, Property Prep, and our CEO's personal brand. You'll work directly with our production team, and your work will be published on real channels with real audiences. This is not a coffee-run internship. You'll leave with finished videos and episodes for your portfolio and experience in every stage of production.
Our Intern Team
We always have three interns in the office: two in video production and one in marketing. You'll work side by side with the other video production intern on shoots and edits. The marketing intern takes the content you produce and distributes it across social media. You'll gain experience working as part of a small team and see how content moves from the camera to the audience.
What You'll Do
-Operate cameras and audio equipment on job sites, in the office, and in studio settings to capture footage for YouTube videos.
-Set up and run cameras and microphones for podcast recordings, including multi-camera sessions.
-Edit long-form YouTube videos and full podcast episodes in Adobe Premiere Pro, including cutting footage, syncing and cleaning up audio, color correction, and adding graphics and music.
-Cut short-form clips from videos and podcast episodes for YouTube Shorts and social media.
-Design YouTube thumbnails, channel graphics, and title cards in Canva.
-Help plan video concepts, shot lists, and filming schedules with the production team.
-Write video and episode titles, descriptions, and tags that help content get found in search.
-Organize and archive footage, audio, and project files so the team can find assets quickly.
-Review channel analytics with the team to learn what's working and apply it to future content.
What We're Looking For
-Current student or recent graduate in film, video production, digital media, communications, or a related field. Equivalent self-taught experience also counts.
-Working knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro.
-Comfort using Canva for graphics and thumbnails.
-Basic camera and audio skills, including framing, focus, exposure, and capturing clean sound.
-A portfolio, reel, or YouTube channel showing video work you've shot or edited. -Class projects and personal projects are welcome.
-Familiarity with YouTube and podcasting as platforms, including what makes a strong thumbnail, title, and hook.
-Reliable, self-motivated, and able to take feedback and apply it.
-Comfortable filming on active construction and job sites, which can involve standing, walking, and carrying camera gear for extended periods.
-Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for travel to job sites around the Milwaukee metro.
What You'll Gain
-Published YouTube videos and podcast episodes for your portfolio.
-Hands-on experience across the full production process, from planning and filming to editing and publishing.
-Mentorship from an experienced in-house production team.
-Experience working on a team with other interns.
-Insight into how content supports real businesses in construction, property services, and leadership.
Schedule
Full-time, Monday through Friday. Occasional flexibility may be needed to film on job sites or podcast sessions.
