What we are looking for:
The videographer’s role is ideal for someone who is both creative and technically skilled, comfortable behind the camera and in the editing suite. The ideal candidate has experience producing videos in a variety of formats, including longer-form content, short-form social media videos, documentary-style storytelling, and trend-driven content for digital platforms. You will be responsible for capturing high-quality footage and transforming it into engaging content that aligns with our brand and resonates with our audience across multiple platforms.
Essential functions:

- Plan, shoot, and edit high-quality video content across multiple platforms
- Operate cameras, lighting, and audio equipment to capture professional-grade footage
- Edit and produce final video content using industry-standard editing software
- Collaborate on creative direction, storyboarding, and content ideas
- Adapt video content for various platforms and delivery specs
- Add music, graphics, captions, transitions, and color grading to enhance videos
- Manage and organize media files, footage, and project assets
- Stay current on content creation trends, editing styles, and emerging video formats
- Deliver projects on schedule while maintaining high production quality
Qualifications or competencies:
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in film, media production, communications, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
- 2-4 years of proven experience in videographer and video editor.
- Proven experience as a videographer and video editor
- Strong portfolio demonstrating a range of content formats
- Advanced proficiency in industry-standard video production tools and software
- Experience filming with professional cameras, lighting setups, stabilizing gear, and audio equipment
- Strong storytelling ability and visual composition skills
Preferred:
- Motion graphics and animation experience
- Knowledge of social media video trends, platform best practices, and social media growth strategies
- Background working in fast-paced, resource-lean environments where adaptability is essential
- Drone videography experience is a plus
- Military Veteran status or experience working with military or Veteran-serving organizations, or equivalent knowledge of military and Veteran culture, is a plus

Position Type:
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
