KeenLogic is seeking a talented and creative Videographer to support CAO Coach services to join our team at the House of Representatives.. This role is ideal for a highly skilled video production professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about producing engaging, high-quality visual content for a diverse audience.
The Videographer role is integral to the dynamic team of a leading organization focused on creating innovative video content for a diverse audience. This role is designed for a creative and technically skilled professional who can conceptualize, execute, and deliver high-quality video projects. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with various departments to produce engaging and educational content for both digital and in person platforms. This position requires a blend of creative vision, technical expertise, and strong project management skills to support the organization's mission of delivering impactful visual communications.
The Videographer will be responsible for managing video projects from initial concept through to final production. This includes working closely with team members to develop original content, executing on-location shoots, and handling post-production tasks such as editing and sound design. The role also involves supporting live multi-camera events and creating virtual classes or breakout sessions. The candidate must possess a strong understanding of video production techniques, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

This position is based in Washington, DC and requires routine on-site work in a professional office environment. The role may involve transporting light video and production equipment and supporting on-location filming activities.

Position Details
- Contract Length: 12-month contract with two option years
- Schedule: 40 hours per week
- Core Hours: Monday – Friday between 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Additional Hours: Hours may exceed 40 per week at times to support events and operational needs
- Location: Washington, DC
- US citizen
- Degree or certification in Communications, Graphic Design, Video Production, Digital Communications, or related field preferred
- 5+ years of experience creating, editing, and maintaining digital/video content
- Demonstrated proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, specifically:
- Adobe Premiere Pro
- Adobe After Effects
- Experience with graphic design and animation tools
- Strong understanding of video production workflows and post-production techniques
- Experience posting, linking, and embedding video content online, including YouTube
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and project management abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop original video content and creative strategies
- Plan and execute on-location video shoots, including lighting, audio capture, and directing
- Edit and produce high-quality video content for digital and in-person platforms
- Handle post-production responsibilities including:
- Color correction
- Sound design
- Soundtrack selection
- Motion graphics and visual enhancements
- Maintain and organize video/media asset databases
- Support live multi-camera event production for streaming and digital distribution
- Assist in the creation of virtual and in-person training classes, breakout sessions, and presentations
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines and revision requests
- Ensure all content aligns with organizational branding and communication standards
