Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education or a related field

• Minimum of two years of lead teaching experience in an elementary school setting

• Experience teaching Kindergarten and/or elementary-aged students

• Strong understanding of child development and age-appropriate instructional practices

• Ability to design differentiated learning experiences that support a range of learners

• Effective classroom management skills and a commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive classroom community

• Strong foundation in Social and Emotional Learning (SEL)

• Experience teaching foundational literacy skills in English

• Ability to teach and assess grade-level curriculum while supporting individual student growth

• Commitment to working collaboratively with learning support staff, specialists, and grade-level colleagues

• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with students, families, and colleagues

• Familiarity with inquiry-based learning and the Primary Years Programme (PYP) is an asset

Teachers in this role will work closely with a collaborative support team to create engaging, student-centered learning experiences that promote academic, social, and emotional growth.

Salary Range: minimum $65,731 to maximum $107,899 (based on experience).
