If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to work as a full-time (40hrs/wk) Supervisor of Programs with our Emergency Mental Health and Access Supervisor.

What You Will Be Doing
Working as an Emergency Mental Health and Access Supervisor you will be responsible for supervising the assigned staff in the emergency mental health department providing services to adult consumers. You will work to provide effective leadership and guidance to a team of clinicians meeting with individuals and families to provide emergent mental health interventions and services. You will review service authorization decisions, utilizing defined criteria, to ensure that consumers are receiving the right combination of services to meet their needs and achieve identified outcomes including both same day access and emergency mental health services.

In this position, you may assist with client assessment of mental health and/or substance use treatment needs, diagnosing and documenting in client case records accordingly. You will assist in providing supervision and coverage for 24-hour services, both as a clinical supervisor and providing support and coordination to community agencies as needed. This role includes working during variable shifts, including evenings. You will also attend meetings within the agency and with other stakeholders to ensure quality of care. This full-time position is during the day shift, with shifts running typically 8am – 5pm, with the possibility of occasional after-hours support, flexibility is needed.

What We Require
You will have a master’s degree in Social Work or Psychology and a minimum of five years’ experience working with adults and/or youth with substance abuse disorders, severe mental illnesses and/or co-occurring disorders. Two years administrative and supervisory experience in a mental health setting is preferred. You will need a valid Michigan Motor Vehicle Operator's license and reliable transportation. You must hold, and maintain, one of the following professional licensures: Licensed Master's Social Worker (LMSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Limited License Psychologist (LLP). A Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CAADC), Certified Clinical Supervisor (CCS) is preferred.
