Traveling required for training- After training set location will be Portland with required traveling to Seattle and Spokane
Job Overview
We are hiring a Fleet Mechanic / Equipment Technician with strong diagnostic and repair experience to support our fleet and pressure washing equipment. This role is ideal for a mechanic who enjoys troubleshooting mechanical issues, performing quality repairs, and keeping equipment running safely and efficiently.
This is a mechanic-focused role—not general labor.
Key Responsibilities:
-Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair pressure washers, pumps, small engines, and mechanical systems
-Perform preventative and corrective maintenance to reduce downtime
-Identify root causes of equipment failures and recommend repairs
-Maintain accurate service and maintenance records
-Conduct safety inspections and ensure equipment meets operational standards
-Perform shop-based work with occasional field service support
-Support pressure washing operations by ensuring equipment is fully functional
-Maintain a clean and safe work environment
-Follow all company safety policies and procedures
Qualifications:
-High school diploma or equivalent
-Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record
-Must be 21 years of age or older
-Proven experience as a fleet mechanic, equipment mechanic, small engine mechanic, or similar role
-Strong mechanical aptitude with ability to diagnose engines, pumps, and pressure systems
-Experience with gas and/or diesel-powered equipment preferred
-Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
-Ability to lift 50–70 lbs and work outdoors as needed
-Must pass a background check and DMV record check
-Must be able to travel
Preferred (Not Required):
-ASE certification or formal mechanical training
-Experience with pressure washing systems or commercial equipment
