About This Position
Description:
We are a proud, Veteran Owned local equipment rental business looking for an experienced mechanic to help keep our equipment in tip-top shape. We have a great team environment and offer a nice benefit package.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Performs a wide range of skilled repetitive mechanical assembly operations in support of production projects.
- Assembles, modifies, reworks, and/or reassembles production components utilizing drawings, pick tickets, process documentation, and/or verbal instructions.
- Prepares and utilizes basic hand tools and machines including but not limited to: air compressors, forklifts, Bobcats, front loaders, trailers, power tools, etc.
- Cleans parts prior to production use as required.
- Identifies wires with use of basic color code sequences
- Participates in continuous improvement and team building activities; maintains productive working relationships with all team members.
- Possesses and maintains thorough knowledge of industry, machinery, and techniques.
- Possesses and maintains thorough knowledge of all applicable safety regulations and considerations.
- Assists with creation of work instructions and bills of material as needed.
- Completes all required paperwork; prepares required reports and correspondence.
- Performs clean-up, bend organization, and tool inventory activities.
- Strong ability to perform customer service oriented tasks and use of computers
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Small engine repair
- Diesel engine repair
- Excellent knowledge of hydraulic machinery, electrical and other systems.
- Excellent manual dexterity and hand/eye coordination.
- Ability to identify colors.
- Ability to read and understand work instructions and assembly drawings.
- Familiarity with various mechanical and electrical measuring equipment.

- Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.
- Acute attention to detail
