Overview
We are seeking a skilled Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Harley-Davidson repair and maintenance, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. As a Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing motorcycles, ensuring they meet safety and performance standards. This role requires proficiency with both hand and power tools, as well as the ability to work efficiently and accurately with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance and repairs, complete performance engine and driveline builds.
- Utilize Harley-Davidson diagnostics tools to identify issues and troubleshoot problems effectively.
- Assemble and disassemble vehicle components as needed for repairs.
- Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating repair needs and recommendations clearly to clients.
- Ability to manage and run complete job, including providing complete parts list to service writer.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance overall service efficiency and quality.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Mechanic or Technician in an Harley-Davidson setting, preferably within a professional shop environment.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance procedures and automotive repair techniques.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Experience with soldering and assembling electronic components is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to perform Harley-Davidson diagnostics accurately.
- Strong communication skills to provide outstanding customer service.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
