Overview of Position: The Yoga and Pilates Instructor for the Wellness and Fitness Club at Windham Mountain Club leads classes, creates personalized fitness plans, and provides guidance to guests to help them achieve their fitness and wellness goals.

• Lead individual and group yoga and Pilates classes, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all participants
• Develop and implement class plans that cater to varying skill levels, from beginners to advanced practitioners
• Provide personalized instruction and modifications to meet the needs of guests
• Educate guests on proper form, alignment, and breathing techniques to maximize benefits and prevent injuries
• Maintain a clean and organized studio space, ensuring all equipment is properly sanitized and tidy
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations and protocols
• Maintain accurate guest records, updating notes after each session
• Provide clients with information about additional wellness services and products
• Uphold the highest standards of professionalism, confidentiality, ethical conduct, and teamwork.
• Perform other relevant duties as assigned

Work Schedule and Conditions: We are in the business of providing an Above & Beyond product and experience for our guests. Traditionally our busy periods are during weekends and holiday periods which you will be expected to work. You may also expect to be asked to work extra hours or days on occasion, especially during the holiday periods.

Job Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certification from a recognized yoga and/or Pilates training program (e.g. Yoga Alliance, Pilates Method Alliance)
• Valid CPR/AED certification
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a yoga and/or Pilates instructor preferred
• Strong knowledge of yoga and Pilates techniques, anatomy, and physiology
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to maintain a positive and motivating demeanor in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and ability to adapt to individual guest needs
• Physical stamina to lead fitness sessions and demonstrate exercises
