Boll & Branch is seeking a Senior Copywriter to bring our product and retail experiences to life through captivating storytelling. Sitting at the intersection of creative narrative and customer experience, this role looks at our products through our customer’s eyes, finds the most compelling facts, and translates them into language that builds trust, inspires desire, and elevates our brand experience.

We are looking for a writer who gravitates towards luxury retail, loves a clever turn of phrase, and leads with a point of view rather than following convention. This position will partner with brand and marketing to ensure our copy delivers warmth, elegance, and emotional connection while driving key business outcomes.

This role reports to the Creative Director, Brand Voice & Copy

What You'll Do:

Product-Level Storytelling & Brand Voice

• Lead copy across PDPs, PLPs, and evergreen funnels, translating product details, materials, and craftsmanship into clear, benefit-driven narratives rooted in customer intent and optimized for AEO.
• Stay close to product with self-driven research into our designs and positioning, bringing stories to life with a dual lens—balancing emotional resonance with practical clarity to reduce friction and build confidence at key decision points in the purchase journey.
• Execute consistently within Boll & Branch’s brand voice, ensuring product copy feels human, warm, and unmistakably on-brand regardless of format or channel.
• Use performance data and customer feedback to continuously refine how copy drives clarity, engagement, and conversion—connecting creative decisions to measurable outcomes.

Retail & Wholesale

• Lead storytelling in retail and wholesale with a customer-first mindset, bringing our brand voice to life in our physical spaces.
• Collaborate with Retail and Wholesale partners to ensure product storytelling translates beyond digital touchpoints.

Creative Collaboration

• Collaborate with the broader creative team to maintain narrative consistency across channels and touchpoints.
• Give and receive direct feedback on creative work, holding the bar for quality even under deadline pressure
• Proactively flag gaps or ambiguity in briefs and adapt quickly as priorities shift

AI Efficiencies

• Leverage AI tools in the product copy workflow, using them to accelerate research, iteration, and first-draft development so creative energy is reserved for the thinking and craft that requires a human point of view.
• Work within the standards set by Copy leadership to ensure AI use protects brand voice quality and consistency, flagging opportunities or friction points as the team’s practices evolve

What You Bring:

• 3+ years of experience in copywriting, with a strong focus on product, e-commerce, or performance-driven work.
• A portfolio that demonstrates both creative craft and strategic thinking, showing how your copy drives clarity, trust, and action.
• Strong understanding of e-commerce customer journeys and how copy influences conversion at different stages.
• Experience writing PDPs, PLPs, email, and evergreen site content across a consumer brand.
• Comfortable working with data and performance insights to inform and refine creative decisions.
• Experience in luxury, lifestyle, or home goods a strong plus.
• Detail-oriented and highly organized: able to manage high-volume workloads without sacrificing quality or brand alignment.
• Collaborative, low-ego, and genuinely motivated by making the customer experience better.
