About This Position
Summary
This is a support role to effectively assist in the repeated tasks of Procurement and cross-departmental processes. Candidate must be able to effectively communicate with team members, via telephone, electronically and in person. They will be responsible for processing information from interactions and coordinating the procurement and distribution of materials and supplies for the organization.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
• Assist in updating & Pre-Receive POs for stock
• Assist in building orders for shipments to customers
• Verify blind tallies
• Receive orders and input them into Bistrack
• Gather pricing from vendors for Glulam and other special-order items. Assist OSRs/CSRs in quoting these items
• Assist creating purchasing orders and processing of special-order sales orders
• Assist processing VMI (daily)
• Verify invoices from suppliers, research discrepancies, and resolve issues
• Learn and assist in monitoring material trends and large projects reported by OSR’s/Technical
• Create a daily procurement report
• Perform required transfer tasks
• Assist to document all vendor damage and submit pictures and credit requests as needed
• Assist in weekly, bi-weekly and yearly inventory counts
• Collaborate with Customer Service, Operations, and others to perform and achieve all cross-departmental tasks and goals
• Other duties may be assigned.

Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should demonstrate proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite. Knowledge of BisTrack is a plus.
