About This Position
Location: This job can be filled out of the Algona, IA or Zumbrota, MN locations
Summary:
This position will support the supply chain and offers significant opportunity to be involved in critical business operations to support the growth at RANDYS Worldwide.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Coordinate Purchase Order process including issuing POs and verifying accuracy of order acknowledgements.
- Tracks the delivery of products in the open orders report and keeps information up to date in RPS/GP.
- Assist AP in approving invoices for payment.
- Engage Suppliers with Request for Quote (RFQs’s).
- Perform analysis of inventory levels, identify potential shortages or opportunities and provide recommendations.
- Resolve shipping and pricing discrepancies by collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
- Work with internal customers to resolve problems as they arise.
- Utilize internal reports to determine proper inventory levels.
- Other tasks as assigned by manager.
Preferred Education and Experience
- 4 year college degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- At least 1 year of relevant experience.
Knowledge and Personal Attributes:
- Strong organizational skills, team orientated philosophy, problem solving, and root cause analysis skills.
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple assignments at any given time while maintaining commitment to deadlines.
- Must be a self-starter, self-motivated; possess business acumen and self-discipline.
- Strong attention to detail with a passion for using data to drive better decision making.
- Continual follow through on a project from inception to completion.
- Robust communication skills and ability to communicate clearly and concise in both written and verbal communication.
- Experience using MS Suite of products, ERP/MRP system experience a plus.
