Job Title: Dispatcher

Department: Office

Reports to: Office Manager

Job Summary:

The Dispatcher will coordinate field activities and staff. Effective dispatchers must be able to collecting call data, inputting it into our dispatch software, and then effectively communicate assignments, instructions, and alerts to multiple members of our team/drivers.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

· None.

Duties/Responsibilities:

· Answers incoming calls and communications.

· Coordinates response and delivery of received information to drivers/field staff.

· Dispatches and deploys staff, vehicles, and/or units based on communications received.

· Adeptly uses multi-line dispatch system, mobile phones, GPS system, and other communications methods and networks.

· Maintains calm communication with and provides instruction as well as guidance to incoming customers and internal staff.

· Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

· High school diploma or equivalent required.

· At least one year of related experience required.

Physical Requirements:

· Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working with dispatching equipment.

Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $13.00 per hour
