Brewster Academy is a private, coeducational boarding and day school located on the shores of Lake Winnipesaukee in Wolfeboro, New Hampshire, dedicated to our mission of preparing diverse thinkers for lives of purpose. Essential duties:

Teach 4 sections of science/physics

• Submit grades/comments
• Communicate with parents, as needed
• Participate in faculty, department, and team meetings

• Serve as an academic/extracurricular advisor to approximately 6 to 8 students
• Coach or assist with afternoon athletics for 2 seasons per year, or lead/support other co-curricular activities, or serve as a primary dorm affiliate, year-round
• Provide weekend coverage approximately 5 times per academic year

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree required
• Teaching experience is preferred but not required
• Passion for teaching
• Enjoy working in a team environment
• Commitment to working in an inclusive community
• Coach or assist with sports or afternoon activities is required (experience with ice hockey, soccer, crew, basketball, tennis, or dance is preferred).
