We are seeking a dependable, customer-focused Parking Lot Attendant with strong communication skills and the ability to work independently. This role is ideal for someone who is proactive, solution-oriented, and interested in growing into increased responsibility over time.
Position Overview
As a Parking Lot Attendant, you will serve as a key on-site representative, ensuring a safe, efficient, and welcoming parking experience. You will interact directly with customers, monitor daily operations, and support overall facility performance.
Schedule
- Part-time
- Afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Key Responsibilities
- Direct vehicles safely and efficiently within the facility
- Provide clear, courteous assistance to patrons, including during special events
- Communicate parking rates, policies, and procedures to customers
- Monitor equipment and facility conditions; report issues promptly
- Maintain accurate records of daily transactions and activity logs
- Address customer concerns professionally; escalate when appropriate
- Support general upkeep, maintenance, and cleanliness of the facility
- Identify and communicate opportunities for operational improvement
Qualifications
- Customer-service oriented with a professional and approachable demeanor
- Reliable, punctual, and able to follow through on responsibilities
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working independently while contributing to a team
- Ability to remain calm and make sound decis ions in customer-facing situations
- Physically able to stand, walk, and perform light lifting (e.g., cones, signage)
- Willing to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must be at least 18 years old and able to pass a background check
