Haik Humble Eye Center is looking for kind, dependable, self-motivated team members to join our optical department. No prior optical experience is required. We provide hands-on training and a pathway to licensure.
This role is ideal for someone who finds purpose serving others, enjoys working with people, can stay organized while multitasking, and takes pride in solving problems, and is looking for meaningful work that helps improve patients’ quality of life.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Assist patients in selecting eyeglasses, contact lenses, and other vision correction devices based on their prescriptions and personal preferences
- Educate patients on eyeglass lens options, contact lenses, and product benefits
- Sell eyewear and contact lenses with confidence and accuracy
- Take measurements to ensure proper fit and vision accuracy
- Dispense, adjust, repair, and troubleshoot eyewear
- Assist patients with contact lens orders and provide guidance on proper care
- Manage multiple tasks throughout the day
- Assist with orders, inventory, and daily operations
- Work closely with providers and teammates to deliver excellent patient care and service
- Supporting other office functions and performing additional duties as assigned

Requirements:Skills and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience as an optician or in a similar role is advantageous
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Attention to detail and excellent manual dexterity
- Ability to work effectively in a team and provide excellent customer service
- Basic computer skills for record-keeping and inventory management
