Our company is looking for highly dependable team players to join our staff as a (food) Machine Operator in our food processing plant. Machine Operators are responsible for operating food production machines such as Flow Wrapper, Sealers, Labelers and Packaging Machines. They must be able to understand and adhere to all tasks and procedures that relate to safe food handling, preparation and production.

Job Overview: The Machine Operator will be responsible for setup, operation and maintenance of production machinery while assisting the Production team to meet goals and ensure quality for a variety of different prepared food items.

Summary of Responsibilities and Duties:

• Set up and operate machinery according to specific job orders and product specifications.
• Monitor equipment during operation to ensure adequate performance and identify any issues.
• Perform routine quality checks and make precise adjustments to maintain high performance standards.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and troubleshoot mechanical issues to minimize change over and downtime.
• Collaborate with Production team to meet daily production targets.
• Ensuring performance standards are met.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organized workspace by following Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s), Safe Quality Food (SQF), and Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP).
• Perform all required duties in a refrigerated room (approx. 40 degrees at all times)
