RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop, implement, and continuously improve site-specific safety programs, policies, and procedures in alignment with OSHA and applicable regulatory standards
• Perform routine and detailed jobsite safety inspections to identify hazards, verify compliance, and ensure corrective actions are completed
• Lead incident, accident, and near-miss investigations; conduct root cause analysis and recommend preventive measures
• Deliver safety orientations, toolbox talks, and formal training programs for field personnel, supervisors, and management
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation including inspection reports, incident logs, training records, and compliance metrics
• Ensure proper availability, condition, and use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety systems on-site
• Monitor regulatory updates and industry standards to ensure ongoing compliance across all job sites
• Develop emergency response plans and conduct drills to ensure workforce preparedness
• Partner with project managers, foremen, subcontractors, and leadership to resolve safety concerns and reinforce safe work practices
• Promote a proactive, accountable safety culture through coaching, communication, and field engagement

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelors degree in Occupational Safety, Construction Management, or a related discipline preferred
• Strong working knowledge of OSHA construction standards and safety best practices
• Minimum of 3 years of construction safety experience, preferably in mechanical or industrial construction environments
• Proven ability to conduct inspections, investigations, and root cause analysis
• Experience with safety management systems and reporting tools
