Your Role as a CNA:

As a member of our care team, you will:

• Assist residents with daily living tasks including dressing, grooming, bathing, and toileting
  
• Help residents with mobility, transferring, and repositioning
  
• Serve meals and assist with eating when needed
  
• Record vital signs and monitor food/fluid intake/output
  
• Document care and support activities in accordance with facility guidelines
  
• Participate in care plan meetings and provide meaningful input
  
• Promote a resident-centered environment focused on dignity, respect, and quality of life

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Licenses/Certification

• Valid certification as a CNA in the state of employment.
• Valid CPR certificate preferred.

Experience

• Six months experience in a long term-care environment preferred.

NOTE: A CNA who successfully completes an approved advanced skills training curriculum and/or has demonstrated experience in a needed clinical specialty area, e.g. ventilator, pulmonary, and tracheostomy (VPT), can be classified as a CNA II.
