Profound Research is building a community of recent graduates and entry-level professionals who have a foundation in clinical research and are ready to begin or continue building their careers in the field. This includes individuals who have gained clinical research experience through internships, academic programs, hands-on research experience, or completion of a clinical research fast-track program.

This is a talent community and expression of interest — not a current job opening.

By joining the Profound Research Entry-Level Clinical Research Talent Community, you'll have the opportunity to introduce yourself to our team and be part of our network of emerging clinical research professionals. As future entry-level opportunities become available, we may connect with individuals in the community whose background, training, interests, location, and experience align with our needs.

We are currently building our Entry-Level Clinical Research Talent Community in and around:

• Detroit, Michigan
• Munster, Indiana
• Las Vegas, Nevada
• Southern California, including the San Diego area

Candidates must currently reside in or around one of these markets to join the community.

Clinical research brings together science, medicine, patient care, and innovation. At Profound Research, our teams support clinical trials across a variety of therapeutic areas, providing emerging clinical research professionals with the opportunity to apply their existing knowledge while continuing to develop their skills in a real-world research environment.

Our research portfolio includes studies in areas such as:

• Oncology
• Cardiology
• Neurology
• Dermatology
• Vaccines & Infectious Disease
• Other evolving therapeutic areas

By joining our talent community, you can put yourself on our radar for future opportunities and continue building upon the clinical research knowledge, training, and experience you have already developed.

While specific responsibilities will vary by site, study, and future opportunity, entry-level clinical research professionals may have the opportunity to:

Support clinical research studies and participant visits under appropriate supervision.

Assist with participant flow, including greeting participants, rooming, and preparing for study visits.

Support data collection and clinical research documentation.

Assist with organizing study materials, supplies, and visit documentation.

Apply existing knowledge of clinical procedures such as vital signs, EKGs, phlebotomy, specimen collection, and specimen processing, as appropriate to the role.

Support laboratory and specimen-related workflows.

Build upon an existing understanding of how clinical research protocols are implemented in a real-world research environment.

Apply and further develop knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (GCP), Good Documentation Practices, SOPs, and regulatory requirements.

Interact with study participants and contribute to a positive, patient-centered experience.

Work alongside Clinical Research Coordinators, investigators, and other research professionals.

Gain additional experience with clinical research systems, documentation platforms, and study workflows.

Continue developing the skills and experience needed to grow within clinical research.

We're looking to connect with recent graduates and entry-level clinical research professionals who already have foundational clinical research knowledge, training, or experience and are interested in continuing to build a career in the field.

This talent community may be a good fit for individuals who have recently completed a degree program and gained clinical research experience through an internship, academic research, or another hands-on setting, as well as individuals who have successfully completed a clinical research fast-track or similar structured training program designed to prepare them for entry-level clinical research work.

Joining the talent community is not an application for a specific position and does not guarantee an interview or employment.

Once you join, your information may be reviewed as future opportunities develop. When a potential entry-level clinical research opportunity becomes available, our team may reach out to members of the community whose background, training, experience, and interests align with the opportunity.

Join our Entry-Level Clinical Research Talent Community and let us know you're interested in continuing to build your future in clinical research.

We're committed to developing the next generation of clinical research professionals — and we'd like to get to know you.
