POSITION SUMMARY: Performs clinical and scheduling duties under the direction of a medical provider. Clinical duties may include taking and recording vital signs, verifying existing demographic information and patient history, documenting current medications, reason for visit, preparing patients for examination and/or in office procedures, assisting providers with administration of medications or treatments as directed by provider and telephone triage.

REQUIREMENTS:

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1 year of Healthcare/Medical - Clinical Assistant experience
• BLSP (CPR) from the American Heart Association within 30 days of employment

PREFERRED:

• Certified or Registered Medical Assistant
