Med/Surg 4 is a 32 Bed adult medical surgical telemetry unit. Our goal is to promote and restore patients' health by collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members. We provide care for a diverse patient population including GI, cardiovascular, and respiratory illnesses. We deliver care with an emphasis on assessment, education, prevention, maintenance, and restoration of health in a supportive and culturally sensitive manner.
The Patient Access Representative II (PAR II) position consists of both administrative/clerical functions in addition to the clinical responsibilities of the medical assistant. PAR IIs are essential members of the team. They provide the department the flexibility of meeting both clinical and administrative needs, while contributing to the smooth operation by facilitating patient flow.
Qualifications/Education/Certifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent
AHA BLS Healthcare Provider
One year of previous experience as a nursing assistant OR currently enrolled in a nursing program and have completed two cycles of clinical rotation OR completion of an approved certified nursing assistant training program OR equivalent experience as determined by the CNO or designee
