Job Description
Maine Savings is searching for a full-time, 40 hours per week, Deposit Services Analyst position for our administrative office in Hampden.
The Deposit Service Analyst role includes accurately processing ACH transactions, checks and wires and communicates effectively internally and with our members in order to build trusting relationships. In a Deposit Service Analyst role, you can expect to:
What You'll Do:
- Provide informed, professional assistance to others in the Credit union ensuring accurate service and support to all members and colleagues.
- IAT credit/debit exception coming from other countries.
- ACH/Wire/Check General Ledger balancing.
- Shared branching adjustments.
- Process mail, address changes, e-forms, and returned mail, ACH and wires on a daily basis.
- Troubleshoot and resolve member and internal inquiries in a timely, friendly and accurate manner.
- To carry out assigned responsibilities meets all deadlines, with minimal errors and no errors that result in losses to the credit union, according to established department standards.
- Provide friendly, professional, personal service by passionately demonstrating the MS Service Standards of Courtesy, Appearance, Responsiveness, Empowerment, Empathy and Reliability to members and coworkers.
The current schedule for this position is Monday – Friday, 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. Schedules are subject to change, based on business needs. This position may allow for a hybrid remote work opportunity after completion of training.
Requirements:Knowledge and Skills:
- Experience: Three years to five years of similar or related experience preferred.
- Education: A high school education or GED.
- Interpersonal Skills: Work involves contact with persons beyond immediate associates regarding routine matters for the purpose of giving or obtaining information which may require some discussion. Outside contacts take the form of service to the public (members or vendors), requiring ordinary courtesy in providing assistance and information.
- Other Skills: Must be able to operate general office equipment including calculator, copy machine, fax machine, postage meter, telephone; required lifting and motions tasks.
