Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Loan Operations Payoff Clerk to join our team. This role is responsible for validating, processing, and accounting for payments applied to loans being paid in full. The ideal candidate will prioritize customer communication while ensuring accuracy in data entry, documentation, and payment processing.

Key Responsibilities

• Process loan payoff payments, including checks, wires, and other payment forms
• Complete and verify various types of CRM cases
• Open, scan, and balance incoming payments
• Sort and distribute incoming and returned mail
• Scan and index documentation accurately
• Process returned mail and ensured proper handling
• Provide backup support for redemption payments and repossession sales
• Assist with Alacriti payments and returns as needed
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Required Skills & Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent telephone etiquette and active listening abilities
• Proven customer service skills
• Strong analytical and basic math skills
• Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Word and Excel
• Accurate data entry and Ten-Key skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in bank operations or loan processing
