Summary

Under the general supervision of physician(s), Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner(s) (CRNP), or Physician Assistants (PA), assists physician(s), CRNP(s), and PA(s) in providing optimal healthcare to patients in the physician practice setting.

Minimum Qualifications

1. Graduate of a recognized Practical Nursing program.
2. Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania OR current temporary licensure to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, with successful completion of NLCLEX – LPN within 60 days of hire.
3. Highly effective communication skills.
4. Ability to navigate electronic medical records and web based applications.
5. Valid driver’s license, motor vehicle insurance, and access to reliable transportation.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Physician Practice nursing experience preferred but not required
2. One year of prior experience working as an LPN
3. One year of prior work experience involving direct patient care
