Summary/Objective:

The Service Porter is responsible for performing a variety of duties as it relates to the maintenance and lot presentation of vehicles.

Essential Job Functions:

• Washing/cleaning the interior and exterior of all new and used vehicles to ensure they look good for potential customers.
• Regularly check all basic vehicle fluids and adjust levels as necessary.
• Simple, basic vehicle maintenance.
• Snow and/or debris removal from cars and lot as necessary.
• Rearrange vehicles for sales or lot reorganization.
• Various other duties as assigned by management.

• Reasoning Ability - Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.

Preferred Education/Experience:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to wet or humid conditions (non-weather) and work near moving mechanical parts. (non-weather); risk of electrical shock and vibration.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Compensation & Benefits:

• The employee will be paid an hourly wage of $15.00 - $18.00 per hour. Starting pay is determined based on factors such as experience, qualifications, skills, education, and geographic location.
