Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Pre-Litigation Settlement Negotiator. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, highly proficient in both firm-wide technology systems and negotiating with insurance adjusters. All while helping resolve complex liens, review demand packages, and facilitate final settlement processes.

Responsibilities:

• Lead settlement negotiations with insurance adjusters to achieve maximum recovery for clients
• Develop negotiation strategy based on liability, damages, medical records, and policy analysis
• Review, approve, and provide feedback on demand packages to ensure clarity and accuracy
• Finalize settlement related documents including releases, affidavits of no other insurance, and closing statements
• Identify and resolve any discrepancies in policy limits, coverage issues, or draft agreements
• Negotiate and settle attorney liens and disputes in connection with subbed out and subbed cases
• Negotiate and settle complex liens, including Workers’ Compensation, ERISA, Medicare/Medicaid, private health insurance, and hospital liens
• Conduct final settlement discussion with clients
• Oversee disbursement calculations to ensure accuracy and compliance with ethical and legal requirements

Qualifications:

• Qualified candidates will have 3+ years negotiating bodily injury claims
• Excellent research and communication skills are required
• Strong experience with reading medical reports and bills
• The preferred candidate will have experience with serious injury cases

Compensation:

$30 to $45 per hour
