Role Name: HR Business Advisor Senior
Job Summary:
Responsible for consulting at a strategic level with executive leaders and teams to drive and sustain a positive organizational culture and business transformation. Collaborates with leadership to provide advanced coaching and strategic guidance on practices and strategies that influence organizational effectiveness and business outcomes. Acts as a partner and change agent to support engagement, workforce planning, and organizational development. Leads partnership with HR centers of excellence and senior stakeholders to design and implement enterprise-wide initiatives that align with business goals and values, ensuring operational and transactional HR functions are managed by appropriate HR teams. Ensures consistent application of HR practices to promote a supportive and compliant work environment. Provides leadership, guidance, and direction to HR Business Advisor Associates, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and professional development.
Essential Functions:

Consults with executive leaders to provide high-level strategic HR guidance on workforce planning, performance management, and organizational development, developing long-term strategies and succession plans.

Facilitates organizational process improvement, restructuring initiatives, and change management activities, serving as a thought leader and advisor, leading cross-functional project teams and stakeholder engagement sessions.

Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues through objective investigations, collaborating with Employee Relations and legal as needed for risk mitigation, ensuring consistency and fairness in outcomes.

Maintains knowledge of legal requirements and ensures regulatory compliance, anticipating future regulatory changes and advising leadership on proactive measures.

Partners with the legal department to address HR-related risks, leading risk assessments and developing mitigation plans.

Advises talent acquisition and HR operations teams on strategic workforce planning, ensuring recruitment and onboarding processes support long-term organizational goals, and aligning talent pipelines with future needs.

Serves as a liaison to staffing agencies, colleges, and industry associations as needed, representing the organization at a senior level, building strategic partnerships and promoting employer brand.

Acts as a resource for leaders and managers on HR-related questions, career development, and professional growth strategies, providing executive-level coaching and strategic advice, and facilitating leadership development initiatives.

Supports the design, delivery, and evaluation of training and development programs to ensure alignment with organizational goals, partnering with Learning & Development teams for execution, and measuring impact on business outcomes.

Directs and mentors HR Business Advisor Associates, delegating tasks and providing feedback to support their growth and effectiveness.

Performs other duties as assigned.
Education Requirement: Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field
Experience Requirement: 5+ years of experience in human resources, business administration, or a relevant area
An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. All experience must be paid and in the same related field. Part-time and PRN experience will be prorated based on hours worked per week. Volunteer work and internships for academic credit are not counted.
Certifications & Licensures: SHRM Certified preferred
