SUMMARY OF DUTIES

Assists visitors by greeting, welcoming and directing them appropriately; notifies company personnel of visitor arrival; maintains security and telecommunications systems. Also provides administrative support to the HR department by facilitating application and new hire processes.

RESPONSIBILITIES

This position will have the following general/minimum responsibilities:

· Receive, direct and relay telephone messages; answering or referring inquiries.

· Directs visitors by maintaining employee and department directories.

· Maintains security by following procedures, monitoring logbook and issuing visitor badges.

· Stamp outgoing mail and distribute general correspondence from incoming mail; in addition to assistance with deliveries and couriered packages.

· Assist in the planning and preparation of meetings and maintain conference room schedule.

· Maintain an adequate inventory of office supplies.

· Distribute job applications to potential applicants.

· Provide administrative services to management and other staff as requested.

· Understand and follow safety policies and procedures.

· Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE / KNOWLEDGE

The following education, experience and knowledge are preferred for this position:

· One to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

· Good written and verbal communication skills.

· Knowledge of MS Office software.

· Excellent customer relations skills.

WORK ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL DEMANDS

· Working conditions are normal for an office environment.
