About This Position
Position Mission:
To support plumbing installation projects by assisting licensed plumbers, learning the trade, and ensuring clean, safe, and productive job sites.
Overview:
Superior Water & Air is hiring a Plumbing Install Apprentice to join our growing team. This entry-level position offers hands-on experience and mentorship for individuals who want to build a long-term career in the plumbing trade.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist licensed plumbers with new and retro installations
- Carry materials and tools to/from job sites
- Cut, measure, and prep piping as directed
- Learn and follow local plumbing codes
- Maintain a clean work area and properly store tools
- Actively participate in safety and career development meetings and training
Core Competencies:
· Eagerness to Learn: Takes initiative in acquiring skills and asks relevant questions.
· Team-Oriented: Works closely with experienced plumbers and supports team objectives.
· Dependability: Follows through on tasks and shows up ready to work.
· Physical Readiness: Comfortable lifting, standing, and working on job sites.
· Basic Mechanical Skill: Understands tools and installation concepts.
· Safety Focused: Maintains awareness of risks and uses proper protection.
Requirements:Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- No experience required—training provided
- Valid driver’s license and clean record
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Willingness to enroll in an accredited plumbing program
