At Havenly Brands, we're building this generation's premier destination for all things home. Alongside our award winning Havenly design services, we proudly own and operate some of the best home furnishings brands in the business including Havenly, Interior Define, The Citizenry, Burrow, Inside, and St.Frank. Our family of brands is growing and we're looking for amazing people to join us on this journey!

Havenly is not just the #1 residential interior design service in America - we're architecting the future of how millions design their homes. With our proprietary 3D visualization technology, our worldwide network of designers empowered with AI tools, and our revolutionary customer-facing AI design assistant, we're at the inflection point of a massive market transformation. This isn't just another operations role, it's the opportunity to build the category-defining business at the intersection of AI, design, and commerce.

Our Core Values

• Exhibit Gumption: meet every challenge with spirit and energy; believe the impossible is possible.
• Overperform: work hard, move fast, be scrappy.
• Stay Playful: no jerks, no whiners; have fun and keep perspective.
• Act Like an Owner: be accountable, speak up, act in Havenly's best interest.

We are seeking a Director of Sourcing to build and own the global sourcing strategy across the brand portfolio (Interior Define, Burrow, The Citizenry, The Inside, St. Frank, and The Expert). This role leads a team of approximately 21, including regional leadership in Asia Pacific and North America/Europe. Critically, this is not a role that scales by adding headcount - the operating model is intentionally leveraged through automation and AI, with workload split between a focused human team and AI-powered tools across costing, vendor analytics, BOM analysis, and reporting. The successful leader is someone who has done more with less, not someone who has done a lot with a lot.

What You'll Own

• Build and own the long-term global sourcing strategy across the brand portfolio: manufacturing diversification and geopolitical risk, cost and margin, quality and brand integrity, sourcing operations, an AI-leveraged operating model, and sustainability.
• Own strategic senior relationships with all manufacturing partners across Asia, North America, and Europe, and lead negotiation of vendor contracts and raw material agreements (fabric, foam, frame, hardware, and finishing materials).
• Manage budget/P&L for product cost in partnership with the CSCO and CFO, and own IMU and margin targets across brands.
• Hold manufacturers accountable for promised throughput, capacity, and quality through formal vendor scorecards, regular business reviews, and contractual commitments.

What You'll Drive

• Lead, build, and develop a globally distributed sourcing organization, with direct accountability for regional teams (Asia Pacific, North America)..
• Partner with Merchandising, Design, Product, Quality, and Logistics to insert sourcing at the earliest stages of product concept and ensure operational execution downstream.
• Ensure alternative supply is in place across categories so the business is never single-threaded on a critical vendor or country.
• Lead the sourcing-side build-out of AI tooling and process automation that lets a small, focused team operate at the scale of a much larger one.
• Act as the lead expert and advocate for sourcing sustainability and ethical practices, driving programs that align with customer expectations and regulatory requirements.

• Have 10+ years of experience in global sourcing or procurement, including 5+ years in strategic leadership roles and 5+ years with a consumer brand, ideally in furniture or other "big and bulky" categories - upholstered furniture and made-to-order model experience strongly preferred.
• Bring a demonstrated track record of margin expansion through BOM-level negotiation, country diversification, and vendor consolidation, with quantifiable results.
• Have proven experience building and leading globally distributed sourcing teams, including hands-on management of Asia-based teams across multiple countries.
• Bring demonstrated experience leveraging AI and automation to displace manual work (RFP automation, BOM analysis, cost modeling, vendor scorecards, sourcing analytics), and are comfortable as a hands-on user of AI tools, not just a sponsor of them.
• Have experience navigating tariff exposure, geopolitical risk, and commodity volatility in a fast-changing trade environment.
• Are product-partnered and brand-respecting - pull Design and Merchandising into sourcing early, and can drive vendor consolidation while protecting each brand's distinct identity.
• Approach ambiguous problems by figuring out what's broken and acting on it, not waiting to be told what's next.
• Move fast, take real ownership of outcomes, and hold themselves to a high bar.
• Collaborate well across teams, with a low-ego, no-drama approach to getting things done.

Bonus points if you also have Mandarin or Vietnamese language skills, an MBA, or experience implementing/scaling sourcing technology such as PLM, vendor portals, or sourcing analytics platforms.

At Havenly, we're building with AI as part of how we work. We're looking for people who are genuinely curious about AI-assisted tools and eager to adopt them; this is about openness, not existing expertise.
