Zalat Pizza is hiring!

We make pizza worth caring about—and we’re looking for people who feel the same.

Our Pizza Makers, also known as Zealots, make pizzas, prep ingredients, stock, clean, and help hand off orders to customers and delivery drivers. No restaurant experience is required, though previous food service experience is a plus.

What matters most is that you show up, work hard, treat people well, and care about making a great product.

What We’re Looking For:

• Reliable and consistently punctual
• Access to dependable transportation
• Friendly, coachable, and team-oriented
• Detail-focused and proud of your work
• Comfortable working in a busy, hot kitchen
• Able to work at least some evenings, late nights, and weekends
• Must be able to stand for 6–10 hours, bend, reach, squat, and lift up to 50 lbs.

What We Offer:

• Competitive base pay starting from $12/hour to $14/hour based on experience
• Shared tips averaging an additional $1.50–$4.00/hour
• 50% employee discount
• Flexible scheduling
• Paid training
• Referral program + bonus
• Full-time equivalent employees are eligible for Health Insurance (including Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Disability)
• 401(k) with company match after 1 year
• Opportunity to advance into leadership after at least 3 months
• Always closed Thanksgiving and Christmas

Why Work Here?

We’re privately owned, steadily growing, and intentionally not very corporate.

Our mission is to make the greatest pizza in the universe, and we care about doing things well—not just doing them the way they’ve always been done. That shows up in our pizza, our service, and the way we treat the people who work here.

We call it Pride & Joy: take pride in what you make, bring some personality to what you do, and help make the shift better for the people around you.

Our culture is relaxed, a little weird, and unapologetically our own.

If you like high standards, good people, and a workplace where you can actually be yourself, you’ll probably fit in here.
