Field Supervisors work closely with the Field Operations Manager to maximize the production of seed that meets all customer quality specifications.

Responsibilities include:

· Performing work activities safely and in compliance with company QMS program.

· Accurate sorting, labeling and distribution of parent seed to growers

· Verifying field isolation distances prior to planting

· Working with seed growers to ensure proper planting

· Monitoring crop conditions (insects, weeds, disease, etc) throughout the growing season

· Monitoring rouging crews, detasseling crews, and detasseling machine operators to ensure the maintenance of maximum yield potential and that seed quality specifications are met

· This position will require to work within plant operations during the fall and winter months
