Are you someone who takes pride in keeping spaces clean, safe, and ready for the community to enjoy? The Town of Vienna’s Department of Parks & Recreation is seeking a Part-Time Custodian to help maintain the Vienna Community Center and surrounding areas. You'll be part of a supportive, energetic team that values service, community, and teamwork.

Work Schedule:
Hours may vary: Monday - Sunday- Evenings 10 to 20 hours per week-

Cleans and maintains building.

Checks schedule for daily/weekly programs/activities; and assists with room preparation as needed.

Maintains security of building at all times; secures doors and windows after business hours.

Interacts and communicates with various groups and individuals.

Assists with inspection of facilities.

Operates various equipment including floor cleaners, leaf blower, vacuum cleaner.

Performs housekeeping duties such as dusting, cleaning, disinfecting, sweeping, mopping vacuum cleaning, replacing and replenishing supplies, washing walls and windows, and cleaning restrooms.

Requires high school diploma or GED equivalent. Preference may be given to applicants with one to two years of custodial experience; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
