<ul><li>Inspects, maintains and/or repairs sewer systems to ensure that systems are functioning properly.<li>Maintains inspection and activity records; checks and cleans equipment and tools. <li>Drives trucks of various sizes and weights while loading, hauling, and unloading various materials and equipment.<li>Performs required labor involved in construction and maintenance projects as part of a crew, including pavement cutting, ditch digging, manhole and pipe cleaning, pumping station and pipe repair.<li>Operates various power equipment and hand tools used in the sewer division.<li>Operates video equipment in order to check sewer mains.</ul>
<ul><li>Graduation from high school or GED equivalent.<li>Minimum 1 year of prior experience in construction and maintenance-related to sewers, manholes, pump stations and collection systems operations.<li>Must possess or be capable of obtaining a Class B Florida State CDL License with Tanker endorsement within 6 months of hire.<li>Required to respond to emergency calls after-hours and on holidays.<li>Knowledge and ability to operate CCTV inspection equipment for Sanitary and Storm Main Lines</ul>
<ul><li>Required knowledge of the tools, equipment, pumps, basic traffic control and methods used in sewer maintenance work; including, pumps, compressors, generators, hand and power tools, shovels, wrenches, detection devices, mobile radios, sewer video equipment, safety equipment, or similarly related field.</ul>
