As an Emergency Room Technician at Legacy, you will play a vital role in easing those fears by delivering compassionate, high-quality care in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Working alongside a specialized emergency team, you’ll support both pediatric and adult patients during some of the most critical moments of their lives. Responsibilities

• Contributes to a team-based approach to patient care, ensuring efficient and effective patient flow through the Emergency Department.

• Provides direct patient care to newborns, children, adults, and geriatric patients under the supervision and delegation of a Registered Nurse.

• Demonstrates effective and professional communication with patients, visitors, EMS personnel, and hospital staff.

• Maintains responsibility and accountability for the cleanliness, maintenance, and safety of unit equipment and supplies.

Qualifications

Education:

• High School diploma or equivalent.

Experience:

• Previous patient care experience in an Emergency environment and/or with children strongly preferred

Skills:

• Basic medical terminology.
• Computer familiarity.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment with ability to prioritize multiple assignments.
