Emergency Department Technician

Be There When Patients Need You Most.

As an Emergency Department Technician at Froedtert South, you'll be an essential member of a fast-paced emergency care team. You'll provide hands-on patient support while working alongside nurses, providers, and other clinical professionals.

Every shift brings something different—and every patient interaction matters.

What You'll Do

• Provide direct patient care and support under the direction of nursing staff.
• Obtain and document vital signs and other patient information.
• Assist with patient transport, positioning, transfers, and activities of daily living.
• Assist nurses and providers with procedures and treatments.
• Perform assigned clinical tasks according to established procedures.
• Maintain and prepare patient-care areas and equipment.
• Respond quickly and appropriately to changing patient needs.
• Communicate patient information clearly to nurses and other members of the care team.
• Maintain patient privacy, dignity, and safety.
• Support a clean, organized, and efficient Emergency Department.

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or GED.
• CNA, EMT, medical assistant, or related healthcare experience preferred, as applicable.
• Current BLS/CPR certification or ability to obtain within the required timeframe.

Pay & Benefits

$19.50 - $29.75 per hour | Differentials for PMs, Nights & Weekends

(Pay is based on experience.)
