Johnson Equipment Sales & Service is expanding, and we’re looking for an experienced Heavy Diesel Road Service Technician to join our Farmington, NY team. This is a full-time, first-shift position: Monday–Friday, 7 AM–4 PM, with overtime available and an after-hours bonus for any service call outside scheduled hours or on weekends.

As a Road Service Technician, you’ll be the frontline expert keeping our customers moving. You’ll diagnose issues, perform repairs, and represent Johnson Equipment with professionalism and skill.

• Diagnose mechanical issues using specialized tools and equipment
• Perform brake, tire, heater, and defroster repairs
• Road-test equipment to verify repairs
• Deliver efficient, high-quality repairs that meet time standards
• Provide excellent customer service to drivers and the Repair Coordinator
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and follow all safety protocols
• Perform additional duties as assigned

• High school diploma or GED
• 2+ years of experience working on 48’/53’ equipment
• Component training or trailer tech certifications preferred
• Your own basic tool set
• Valid Class A license with at least 6 months of experience
• Strong mechanical, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently in the field
