- Serve as the highest-level technical resource for parts counter staff
- Support service technicians by sourcing correct parts, verifying fitment, and ensuring timely delivery to repair orders
- Resolve escalated customer issues and complex special orders
- Ensure parts availability supports service throughput and customer satisfaction
Cross-Department Collaboration
- Partner with the GM or Sales and Operations Manager on department goals, workload planning, and KPIs
- Provide operational direction to Parts Specialists and Inventory or Receiving team members
- Coordinate closely with service and sales teams to ensure smooth handoffs and revenue capture
- Ensure the parts department remains clean, safe, and customer-presentable
Qualifications
- Three or more years of experience in parts operations within trailer, RV, powersports, automotive, equipment, or similar retail environments
- Experience managing large, active inventories with 3,000 or more SKUs preferred
- Strong vendor sourcing knowledge and purchasing discipline
- Proven ability to maintain gross profit and reduce shrink
- High attention to detail with strong organizational discipline
- Comfortable using parts lookup systems, inventory tools, and DMS platforms
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities
