Job Overview

Granite Excavation, Inc. is hiring dependable Construction Laborers to support road construction, excavation, trenching,

underground utility, paving, and concrete projects. Positions are available at job sites throughout Boise, Eagle, Meridian, and other

Treasure Valley communities, as well as Cascade, McCall, and Valley County. Specific work locations will be discussed during the

phone screening.

Key Responsibilities

Follow daily instructions from the Foreman and Equipment Operators and complete assigned jobsite tasks.

Signal equipment operators to assist with the safe movement, positioning, and adjustment of machinery, equipment, and

materials.

Clean and prepare construction sites and help maintain safe, organized work areas.

Perform daily safety and equipment checks and report maintenance or repair needs to the Foreman or Equipment Operator.

Assist with general construction labor, including lifting, pulling, and shoveling as needed.

Operate equipment safely and efficiently when qualified and assigned.

Follow company safety procedures and communicate respectfully with coworkers, supervisors, customers, and the public.

Qualifications

At least 2 years of verifiable construction or similar work experience.

Valid Idaho driver's license and satisfactory driving record.

Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.

Ability to communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, vendors, customers, and the public.

High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required.

First Aid and CPR certification preferred, but not required.

Physical and Work Environment

This is a physically active outdoor position requiring lifting, pulling, shoveling, and working around heavy equipment.

Must be able to work outdoors in changing weather conditions, including extreme heat and cold.

Work may involve exposure to dust or other jobsite substances; required protective equipment and safety procedures must be

followed.
