About This Position
AI Signal Research, Inc. (ASRI) is recruiting for the Test Engineering & Analysis Services contract in the Las Cruces and White Sands Missile Range, NM area.
Education: An associate or bachelor’s degree is desired
Months/Years of Experience: Five (5) years in related field.
Required Qualifications:
- U.S. Citizen.
- Must have a DoD security clearance.
- One (1) year of specialized range scheduling experience including two (2) out of three (3) of the following: Utilizing appropriate scheduling techniques to manage projects; reviewing data in data tracking systems to recognize potential conflicts; operating project management systems to manage scheduling or resources for an organization. A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position.
- Highly proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Software Suite and acceptable computer skills.
- Working knowledge of range operations and scheduling in a developmental test environment.

- Demonstrated ability to participate in and support test planning and coordination necessary to meet customer requirements; experience assisting in the preparation and review of range documentation.
- Experience supporting test resource coordination involving Chu-SAM assets and/or other missile assets similar to Chu-SAM.
- Background in monitoring test events and reporting deviations. Provide engineering support to missile test efforts.
- Ability and/or experience coordinating foreign national visits and logistics (verifying visit requests/ITOs, arranging badging/lodging/courier service).
Skills Needed: Coordination and Planning; Test Execution Support; Data Management; Technical Writing (reports, summaries, briefings, other engineering documentation); Foreign National Escort and Logistics Coordination.
Duties: The Test Range Scheduler III is responsible for coordinating, updating, and mitigating schedules which may conflict for the testing of varieties of components at White Sands Missile Range, NM. The Range Scheduler II must be able to conduct research, development, and plan for future of task operations that are being supported. In addition, this duty MAY require the incumbent to provide engineering support of Chu SAM test efforts on an as-needed basis. Duties there include participating in test planning meetings; assisting in the preparation and review of range documentation; coordinating and planning test resources.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Support the maintenance of the master schedule for Army developmental test projects.
- Create and modify the test schedules, detailing each sequence of work that should be done at a particular time.
- Record the effects of work being performed on time and not performed on time.
- Maintain progress of projects and prepare regular updates.
- Directly coordinate with project managers and management to find solutions to scheduling issues.
- As test support analyst, provide test execution support and assistance to test operations personnel; monitoring test events and informing government lead of test execution deviation; assisting in preparation of reports, summaries, briefings, and other engineering documentation for government review; providing data management, delivering data products, and performing services to support test documentation; and coordinating foreign national visits and logistics, including occasional escort duties
- Analyze existing schedule and create proposed provisional changes.
- Collaborate, problem-solve, and/or strategize with team members on upcoming schedules and deconfliction.
- Assist project managers in generating schedules for immediate implementation.
- Monitor impact of changes on the master schedule.
- Assess scheduling problems, determine causes, and find solutions to such problems.
- Provide relevant information regarding the content, changes, or presentation of schedules.
- De-conflict varying tests to determine priority.
- Maintain a scheduling system for projects in accordance with applicable laws, regulations or policies.
- Develop schedules using standard project scheduling tools.
- Evaluates project schedule data quality issues or compliance with established standards.
- Coordinate multiple projects as primary point of contact, keep stakeholders abreast of project progress.
- Assist with user application training of project management systems and scheduling techniques.
- Travel: Minimal travel required.
Comments: Compliance with health mandates as dictated by the contract may be required as a condition of employment. This position is contingent upon funding.
