About This Position
Who we are: Since 1956, Lewer has served as an advocate for independent business owners who seek to protect what they’ve built and prepare for the future. In 1991, our student division was formed to protect people around the world. Lewer offers a concierge approach to employee and student insurance by providing tailored benefit strategies designed to create healthier businesses, families, and individuals.
What you'll do at Lewer:
Roles and Responsibilities: As a Client Advocacy Coordinator, you provide comprehensive administrative and operational support for employer-sponsored benefit programs. You ensure benefit plans are executed accurately, service requests are handled consistently, and systems and documentation remain current. Your work supports renewals, open enrollment, and ongoing plan administration while delivering a reliable and professional experience for clients and their employees.
Your Key Areas of Impact
Client Satisfaction: You directly influence the experience of clients and members by serving as a primary operational support resource for benefits-related needs. You manage benefits communications through inboxes, phone lines, and chat, ensuring inquiries are handled accurately and in a timely manner. You assist members with carrier network searches, ID card requests, and general claims questions while supporting Group Administrators with billing questions and invoice retrieval. By tracking enrollments, terminations, and service requests through completion and communicating status updates consistently, you help clients feel informed, supported, and confident in their benefits program.
Plan Administration: You ensure benefit plans are administered correctly by processing member enrollments and terminations with precision, saving confirmations for every transaction, and managing eligibility activity through completion, including ICHRA-related changes. You oversee Employee Navigator wall notifications and discrepancy reports, send ICHRA contribution calculation requests, and audit system data to confirm accuracy prior to open enrollment. You maintain current policy details and client contact information in AgencyBloc, helping reduce errors, mitigate compliance risk, and ensure data integrity across systems.
Renewal Execution: You play a critical role in successful renewals and open enrollment periods by preparing systems, coordinating information, and monitoring participation. You build Employee Navigator sites for new groups, update rates and benefits at renewal, and pull renewal and plan information from carrier sites for distribution. During open enrollment, you audit Employee Navigator data, present meetings through live Zoom sessions or recorded presentations, track enrollment progress, and provide regular updates to clients. You assist with carrier submissions, send final reports to Group Administrators, and follow up to confirm members receive ID cards, ensuring smooth transitions and timely completion of all enrollment activity.
Operational Efficiency: You contribute to consistent, efficient benefit administration by ensuring systems, documentation, and workflows are maintained accurately and kept up to date. You manage incoming USPS mail, maintain organized SharePoint and Outlook folders for each group, and ensure policy details and client contact information are current in AgencyBloc. You pull plan summaries and renewal information from carrier sites, assist with building cost comparisons and client-facing presentations with appropriate guidance and review, and create benefits guides and Section 125 documents. You update workflows and process documentation as procedures evolve, helping support scalability and consistency across the organization. Through reliable execution, follow-through, and clear communication, you support successful renewals, open enrollment activity, and ongoing plan administration while ensuring deadlines are met and information is delivered accurately.
