Job Description
Role Overview:
The VP of Technology will lead the Company’s enterprise technology function as we scale a tech-enabled business services platform. This is a senior, enterprise-application and IT leadership role focused on building for scale, establishing operational discipline, and ensuring reliability, security, and governance of the technology environment.
The VP owns the Company’s core technology systems, data, security, infrastructure, integrations, and IT operations that support the business across internal teams and the client experience. The role is more CIO than Product Development oriented, with responsibility for the overall technology strategy, operating model, ownership of AI deployment across the enterprise to facilitate revenue and operations, and execution of the systems that make the business run effectively at scale.
About Us:
Remember when every step of launching your dream felt like a mountain? Debt loomed, the tax code was a cryptic puzzle, and building a rock–solid foundation seemed impossible. PRIME Corporate Services was forged from that very struggle - by entrepreneurs who knew there had to be a better way.
We are not just a faceless firm; we are a co-pilot for founders, operators, and business builders navigating the chaos of growth. We help cut through red tape, simplify complex systems, and help entrepreneurs structure their business for long-term financial freedom.
From entity structuring to tax strategy to business credit and funding, we don’t just protect businesses - we help to scale them. Our team partners directly with high-growth entrepreneurs and affiliate partners to drive measurable outcomes; more leads, more revenue, and stronger businesses.
We deliver expert guidance and exceptional service at every stage of the business journey.
Our Mission:
We aim to serve, advise, and support entrepreneurs every day.
Why You’ll Love Working Here:
- Impact at scale: Your work will shape the experience of thousands of entrepreneurs working with PRIME.
- Autonomy + Accountability: You’ll be trusted to lead, experiment, and deliver results — no micromanagement, just momentum.
- Collaborative Culture: You’ll work alongside creative thinkers, engineers, and business leaders who care deeply about customer success and innovation.
- Modernization Mission: You’ll play a key role in bringing advanced tech, analytics, and discipline to a growing organization — setting the foundation for the next generation of PRIME’s digital ecosystem.
Benefits & Perks
- Competitive Compensation - Salary + performance based bonus
- Comprehensive Health Coverage - Medical, dental, and vision
- Paid Time Off - Generous PTO, sick days, and paid holidays
- 401k with Company match (we match up to 4%)
- Parental Leave - Paid leave for new parents
- Impact-Driven Culture - Small team, big mission
- Gym Pass - Company sponsored access to local gyms
- Free soda and snacks
Responsibilities:
- Technology strategy & governance: Define and execute the enterprise technology strategy (including AI), operating model, and roadmap aligned to company growth objectives, business priorities, and risk tolerance.
- Enterprise applications: Own Salesforce as PRIME’s operating system and single source of truth—the backbone of our internal operations, client experience, and integrations. Direct platform architecture, the data model, and the technical roadmap with deep, working command of Flows, Apex, integration and API patterns, security and sharing model, and data governance. Stay current on the Salesforce roadmap and emerging capabilities (e.g., Agentforce and applied AI) and decide where they create value. Lead through the team while remaining hands-on enough to architect, review, and build directly when the situation calls for it.
- Back-end digital experience: Own the back-end technology, integrations, and APIs behind the client experience. PRIME’s customer portal is live and Salesforce-powered—where clients view entity documents, manage payment methods, and track billing status—and will keep evolving. Partner with the Marketing-led Head of Customer Experience, who designs the journey, to architect and continually enhance the portal and ongoing touchpoints so they are performant, secure, and reliably connected to Salesforce data.
- Portal & platform integrations: Architect and maintain reliable, real-time data flow between the customer portal, Salesforce, and the tax and bookkeeping software platform, so the systems clients depend on stay accurate and in sync.
- System integration & product onboarding: Build the infrastructure for launching new products and onboarding growth through external partnerships—affiliate, white-label, and M&A. Integrate external systems so customer and product data flows cleanly into Salesforce via API and other means, and lead the technical migration and integration of businesses PRIME acquires. This directly supports the company’s expansion of product offerings and its M&A activity.
- Cloud & infrastructure: Direct the AWS cloud strategy, architecture, operations, and reliability standards with an emphasis on scalability, resilience, security, and cost efficiency.
- Data engineering & analytics: Build the data foundation, reporting pipelines, and business intelligence capabilities that support enterprise reporting, operational visibility, and practical AI use cases.
- Security & compliance: Oversee company-wide security protocols, data protection, and risk management, safeguarding sensitive financial and customer information.
- IT ownership: Own the IT function end to end, including systems, vendors, support, and internal tooling, ensuring a stable and efficient operating environment.
- AI Integration: Responsible for owning the AI deployment process across the enterprise to facilitate revenue and operations growth.
- Leadership: Build and mentor a high-performing technology team and partner with executive leadership to align technology investment, operating priorities, and execution with business strategy.
Accountabilities:
- Demonstrate experience leading enterprise technology strategy, systems management, and cross-functional implementation
- Deep, demonstrable command of Salesforce as a core operating platform—architecture and data model, Flows, Apex, integration/API patterns, security model, data governance, and release/DevOps discipline—with current knowledge of the Salesforce roadmap and applied AI (e.g., Agentforce). Comparable command of AWS, data engineering, and integration tooling.
- A clear track record architecting and operating the back-end systems and integrations behind live, customer-facing portals, and of integrating external systems and acquired businesses (affiliate, white-label, or M&A) into a central platform—partnering effectively with the marketing owners of the client experience
- Act as an effective business partner, capable of influencing decisions through data-driven analysis and clear communication
- Able to distill complex financial information into concise, actionable narratives for stakeholders
- Maintain a scalability mindset - thinks in terms of building repeatable, efficient processes that can support the Company’s continued growth
Minimum Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field or other similar discipline
- Master’s degree or other advanced degree preferred
Minimum Experience Requirements:
- Deep hands-on expertise across enterprise platforms—Salesforce, AWS cloud, data engineering, and applied AI—in a data-sensitive environment
- 10+ years in technology leadership, including senior/CIO-level ownership of enterprise IT, security, and infrastructure
- Demonstrated ownership of security, compliance, and IT operations in a financial-data or regulated environment [confirm applicable frameworks: SOC 2, IRS Pub 4557, GLBA, PCI DSS]
