We are looking for talented Carpenters for our Northwestern region, Seattle location. The Carpenter is responsible for performing advanced techniques in various areas of construction trades responding to emergency and non-emergency service jobs. Responsibilities include maintaining a fully stocked and prepared company vehicle to drive to work sites, preparing, maintaining and cleaning work areas, and performing repairs per the scope of work and project manager direction.

What You Do

• Prepare rooms / areas for work activities to include setting up staging areas, equipment and content protection
• Provide direction to subcontractors
• Maintain clean and organized work areas to include securely storing equipment and supplies while not in use
• Interface with customers and relay information to Project Director or Superintendent when appropriate
• Complete paperwork, upload documents, and provide job updates into database as needed
• Complete punch list items with attention to detail
• Maintain equipment in clean and working condition
• Ensure the company vehicle is fully stocked at all times and travel to a nearby home improvement store to purchase needed items
• Monitor the safety, security, efficiency, and appearance of the company vehicle
• Monitor the safety, security and appearance of job sites
• Assist with demolition and general clean up as needed

What You Bring

• Minimum 5 years of experience of carpentry
• Hands on experience in drywall, paint, trim and carpentry
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
• Understanding of major trades processes (mechanical, electrical, plumbing)
• Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness
• Willingness to be flexible based on business needs
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Thorough understanding of the correct and safe operation of all related tools and equipment
• Proficient use of computer technology
• Proficiency in light carpentry, framing, drywall, paint, trim and all aspects of repair that is common with handyman work
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and build relationships
• Eligible to operate a vehicle per company policy
