About The Signatry

Position Purpose
The Vice President of Financial Planning & Analysis serves as a high-impact role in the Finance organization, working closely with the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and senior leadership to provide data-informed insights across The Signatry. This individual will be responsible for leading our financial modeling initiatives at The Signatry, combining technical financial modeling expertise with the ability to translate the data into clear, actionable insights.
Primary Responsibilities
- Lead the financial planning of the organization, including the preparation of the annual budget and forecasting cycles, coordinating details and efforts across departments. Develop and present analysis, results, and recommendations of the financial planning function to various audiences, including cross-departmental teams, the CFO, and executive leadership.
- Partner with the CFO to monitor and analyze cash, develop regular cash flow projections, identify areas of concern or interest, and provide recommendations for any corrective actions.
- Develop key performance indicators and trend analysis throughout financial models, implementing scenario and sensitivity analysis around drivers. Partner with cross-departmental teams to implement reporting tools and track key performance indicators.
- Lead the development and implementation of sales analysis and metrics.
- Lead the development of analyses to identify the most efficient cost structures and business cases that maximize productivity. Example analysis may include lease vs. buy, insource vs. outsource, or sales incentive strategies and planning.
- Deliver monthly and quarterly financial reporting packages, including variance analysis and commentary on forward-looking insights. Support leadership with financial analysis to inform key business decisions, provide alternative solutions where applicable, and advise on implications of options. Partner with the Accounting and Data teams to ensure consistency in actuals reporting and financial models.
- Continuously improve The Signatry’s financial models and inputs, identifying ways to better leverage processes, expertise, tools, and systems to increase efficiency and accuracy. Generate ideas and execute the implementation of process improvements.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the team of finance professionals, contributing to the culture of collaboration and excellence.
Key Qualifications and Skills
- Alignment with The Signatry values and statement of faith.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics or related field.
- At least 5 years of progressive, hands-on financial analysis experience, with 2 years in a leadership role.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Proven ability to explain and present financial results in both written and verbal formats.
- High attention to detail, accuracy, and quality, with expert-level financial modeling skills.
- Strong command for Microsoft Excel and software tools.
- Effective time management, organization, and planning skills. Exercises sound judgment to support timely decision-making.
Work Location
This full-time, salary position can be based in our corporate office in Overland Park, KS in a hybrid in-office/WFH setting; or can be considered a remote position based upon the candidate.
Pay Range
Salary: $140,000 - $160,000 annually, paid out semi-monthly.
