About the Role:
The Bunkers Bartender plays a pivotal role in delivering an exceptional beverage service experience within a dynamic hospitality environment. This position requires crafting a wide range of cocktails and beverages with precision and creativity, ensuring customer satisfaction and repeat patronage. The bartender will manage the bar area efficiently, maintaining cleanliness, stock levels, and compliance with health and safety regulations. Engaging with guests in a friendly and professional manner, the role contributes significantly to the overall atmosphere and reputation of the establishment. Ultimately, the Bunkers Bartender is responsible for creating memorable experiences that encourage customer loyalty and positive word-of-mouth.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a bartender or in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
- Knowledge of standard drink recipes and bartending techniques.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Legal age to serve alcohol in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in responsible alcohol service (e.g., TIPS or ServSafe Alcohol).
- Experience working in a high-volume bar or restaurant setting.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Basic knowledge of inventory management and point-of-sale systems.
- Multilingual abilities to engage a diverse customer base.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standardized recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and equipment.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to management to ensure consistent availability of ingredients and products.
- Engage with customers to provide excellent service, answer questions about the menu, and make recommendations.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and licensing regulations related to alcohol service.
- Handle cash and electronic payments accurately and responsibly.
- Collaborate with team members to support smooth operations during busy periods.
