JOB SUMMARY
- Assesses the clinical status of patients by identifying, assessing, and habilitating patients of all ages with auditory, vestibular, and related disorders to initiate a treatment process.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Demonstrates Competency in the Following Areas:
  - Education/Regulatory Requirements:
    - Mississippi Audiology License Certificate of Clinical Competence of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association
    - BLS/CPR certification required witin 14 days of hire.
  - Skills:
    - Moderate to advanced computer and data entry skills.
    - Ability to give full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times.
    - Ability to talk to others to convey information effectively.
    - Ability to use scientific rules and methods to solve problems.
    - Ability to understand written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents.
    - Ability to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
    - Ability to monitor/assess performance of yourself, other individuals, or organizations to make improvements or take corrective action.
    - Ability to tell when something is wrong or is likely to go wrong. It does not involve solving the problem, only recognizing there is a problem.
