- Support athlete development in alignment with team training philosophy and seasonal goals
- Maintain active engagement on deck (no passive coaching)
- Help foster a positive, respectful, and team-first culture among athletes
- Assist with swim meets (local and travel as needed), including warmups, racing support, and athlete supervision
- Communicate clearly and professionally with athletes, families, and coaching staff
- Enforce team expectations, policies, and standards consistently
- Support team events, recruitment efforts (e.g., splash camps), and program growth initiatives
- On-deck presence must be active, attentive, and instructional at all times
- Athletes are treated with respect, consistency, and accountability
- Coach must align with a team-first philosophy (not athlete favoritism or passive oversight)

- Hourly: Typically ~$20/hour (based on experience and certifications)
- Meet-related coaching compensation may apply
- Professional development opportunities available
- Competitive team culture within a community-driven organization
- Strong emphasis on athlete development and long-term growth
- Opportunity to be part of a program that is building something meaningful—not just running practices
- Leadership that values initiative, accountability, and high standards
Required:
- Prior competitive swimming experience (club, high school, or collegiate)
- Basic understanding of stroke mechanics and training principles
- Ability to work with swimmers of varying ages and skill levels
