About This Position

This non-benefited position performs a variety of duties related to airport operations and special events.
In this role, you will:
- Greet and welcome the Airport public in a friendly and helpful manner.
- Operate a variety of tools and equipment including, but not limited to, small hand tools, push mowers, pressure washers, blowers, trucks, line trimmers, and other equipment.
- Assist the full-time, regular Airport staff in the planning and overseeing of Airport projects including, but not limited to, publicity, the Airport Improvement Program, runway extensions, the Airport's involvement in the Emerald Downs Fireworks Display, Tenant Day, airport driver training, airfield inspections, rate studies, and construction and obstruction projects.
- Assist in ensuring facilities and equipment are clean.
To be considered qualified for this position, you must be
- Pursuing a degree in Airport or Aviation Management, or related field
- Enrolled in, or have successfully completed, an Airport Management college course.
